Kind of an odd weekend in many ways. I had two hockey games to go to, but ended up going to neither because Glove-Master G (that's my Bantam Goalie) was sick. So it's like a totally free weekend... whoohoo! And much needed. I have to come up with FOUR trays of goodies for my distributors and a slew of items for the boutique... still have to call her and reschedule a meeting.

Those who read TMB know what I had for breakfast yesterday (when I discovered I was out of creamer)... yup, an entire packet of strawberry milkshake powder in my coffee. Now... I don't know if that was the culprit, but I ended up with a gnarly tummy ache all day.

Erin was over and we made a lot of "things", so that was uber grand.

But then the Penguins lost and the Sharks lost. :-(

BTW, Erin, I should have warned you we don't go out to dinner until the Penguins' game is over. Ha ha ha! Next time you'll be prepared. We had dinner at a neat burger joint in Montclair. Bear finally got his outing. :-)

So last night, somewhere in the middle of sleep, Mike says, "The electricity's out". He woke up 'cause he was hot... the a/c had gone off, of course.

Well, what's MY first thought? Oh crap, I didn't pay the PG&E bill.

Wwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! So I'm up at (don't even know what time for awhile)... trying to find a candle and matches... couldn't get through to PG&E on the phone (good sign... maybe it's not just me) and then went outside to note that the street lights were out (another good sign). While I was out there, I heard multiple fire engines. It was 2:30am, btw. Didn't want to go back to bed, and although I contemplated how many bracelets I could make by getting up at 2:30 in the morning, I ended up just sleeping on the couch with the dog and at least four of the cats. Although "sleeping" is used in the remotest sense of the word.

So now I sit here with my coffee... it's one of my favorite morning rituals. Mmmmm... It's 9am (already got up and went grocery shopping... $157... ouch!). As soon as I drain the last of my coffee, it's off to the couch to continue making.

I've decided to put shark tags on this batch. It's just too limiting to sell only one-price bracelets. I will offer more of a range now.

Here's a reminder for two of my future musings: my angst about selling at a boutique. Sigh... And my thoughts on mental disorders and personalities in general.

P.S. If anyone in northern California can provide a home for a sweet little black short-haired male kitten, let me know.

Well, first off, forget about that little black kitty. :-(

Oh, that was a terrible way to start a musing. Sigh...

Decided to change some of my eating habits, even if I can't squeeze in any exercise at the moment. I don't need to be so "all or nothing". Every little bit helps.

I've still got ZERO auctions up on eBay, but the show's tomorrow, so once that's over with, I can get back to a bit of normalcy. I'm pretty excited about some of my new designs.

Saw the doctor yesterday for my CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome); instead of surgery, we're trying some other things first.

Well, suddenly I seem brain-dead. I'll go gather the few things I NEED to take with me today to ship (stuff for LH, AP, etc). I may also take some of my bracelets just to show the hockey women.
