When someone remarks on this piece of jewelry, you could reply: “Thanks! This bead was made by a glass artist in Santa Cruz, California. The other beads are Serpentine. The designer was inspired to create this piece by the organic look of both the Lampwork and the gemstones.”

• Lampwork Glass Bead (32x23x8mm, created by Alex Spinglaschell): Created by melting various colored glass in a torch and manipulating the molten glass around a metal rod then baking the bead in a kiln for a long-lasting, durable piece of art. Note: To assure the Lampwork in our creations is properly annealed and cleaned, we only buy lampwork from people we know.
• Serpentine: Unless noted otherwise, all the gemstones used in our jewelry are natural (untreated) and genuine.
• Sterling Silver: Unless noted otherwise, all our silver components, beads, wire, and headpins are sterling (.925) or higher (fine silver .999).

The size (interior measurement) of this piece is 7 inches. This is not the length of it on a ruler… this is the inside measurement. The charm acts as a counter-balance to help keep the bracelet from spinning upside-down on the wrist.

Note: Size and length are not the same thing. Length is a measurement on a ruler, which doesn't take into account large beads that would make the jewelry wear smaller. Size is the interior measurement, usually taken on a specialized sizing devise, to determine what the true size of a piece is. PLEASE TAKE CARE TO READ THE LISTED SIZE OF OUR JEWELRY PIECES.

If you’re not sure what size bracelet would be best for you, try this: Take a thin strip of paper, wrap it around your wrist and mark the meeting point with a pen or pencil, then measure that on a ruler. That is your wrist measurement. If you like your bracelets on the more snug side, add about half an inch to your measured wrist size for an appropriate interior bracelet measurement. If you prefer looser bracelets, make sure the interior measurement of a bracelet is greater than half an inch over your wrist measurement, up to 1½ inches depending on how loose you like your bracelets.

Our one-of-a-kind designs are not repeated so once a jewelry piece is sold that design is gone forever.
