- Lampwork Glass Beads (Artist: Alex Spinglaschell): Created by melting various colored glass in a torch and manipulating the molten glass around a metal rod then baking the bead in a kiln for a long-lasting, durable piece of art. Note: We only buy lampwork from people we know.
- Bali Vermeil (22k gold over .925 sterling silver): Hand-decorated sterling beads crafted by Balinese silversmith artisans, who then coat the beads in a heavy layer (at least 1.5 micrometres thick) of 10-22k gold, at which point the bead is then referred to as “vermeil”, a technique developed by the French in the mid 1700’s.
- 14k Gold Fill (the tube beads): 5% (1/20) of 10-24kt gold mechanically bonded to the base metal. More durable than gold-plating or gold electro-plating.
- Swarovski Crystals (4mm): The finest crystals in the world from Daniel Swarovski's famous factory in Austria.
The interior strand measures 27 inches.
