When someone remarks on this piece of jewelry, you could reply: “Thanks! It’s one of a kind. The designer used Lampwork beads by a glass artist in Chelsea, Alabama. The silver is hand-decorated sterling from Indonesian silversmiths.”
This 7 inch bracelet (interior measurement) should comfortably fit a 6-7 inch wrist. There is no clasp; it is strung on heavy elastic which should last a long time under normal wear (no water, no over-stretching). The Lampwork beads are about 17x10mm.
“Wehrōd”, which literally means “good river” is one of the names of the Amu Darya, a significant river in central Asia. The beads in this bracelet remind me of this river and its complex system of canals.
We like to show very large photos of our work so you can see the details, but because these enlarged photos can be misleading we also put the measurements in the item descriptions or show one photo with a size reference. Thanks!
Our one-of-a-kind designs are not repeated so once a jewelry piece is sold that design is gone forever.
