Deer Skeleton with Moonstone Small Sterling Silver

But you know, happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.  (J.K. Rowling)

This small pendant was created through a series of events and thoughts, each leading to the next in the most natural of ways.

I do have a fondness for skeleton and fossil images, and when I etched the image of a deer skeleton onto the sterling sheet I felt it had sort of an “other worldly” quality, instantly reminding me of the patronus Snape left to guide Harry to the sword of Gryffindor (The Deathly Hallows).

The moonstone was an intuitive addition.

This is a small pendant (see photo where it's in my hand).
